My family has always been a fan of Chipolte bowls. It’s a no-brainer on a busy night and is healthier than other fast food options. I recently started making my own homemade chipotle bowls, and my family loves them. I usually have all of the ingredients on hand, so they’ve become one of my favorite go-to recipes for a busy weeknight.

 

Making homemade chipotle bowls is quick and easy. You’ll have them on the table in less than 30 minutes. Plus, when you make them at home, you have the option to swap out ingredients to your liking to please your picky eaters. Here’s how to make your own at home.

Homemade Burrito Bowl Ingredients

Ground chicken, cooked and mixed with taco seasoning

Brown rice

Romaine lettuce

Pico de gallo

Black beans

Corn

Cilantro

Chihuahua cheese

Chipotle sauce (recipe below)

Other additions: grilled chicken or steak, green onion, bell pepper, avocado

 

Chipotle Sauce Ingredients

1/2 cup greek yogurt

1/2 cup mayo

2 Tbs

2 Tbs chipotle chile in adobo sauce

1 Tbs lime juice

1 clove minced garlic

1/4 tsp each salt and pepper

 

Chipotle Sauce Instructions

Mix ingredients together in a food processor. You can make the chipotle sauce in advance and chill it in the refrigerator for later.

How to Assemble Your Chipotle Bowl

Build your homemade chipotle bowls. Distribute equal parts of rice and chicken into bowls. Add the remaining ingredients in equal parts. Then, drizzle with chipotle sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade chipotle bowl!
