I drink a smoothie almost every morning. It’s a healthy habit that has stuck with me for years. It helps boost metabolism, keeps me full until lunch and nutrient-wise, it’s a great way to ensure I’m getting a good helping of fruits and veggies. Plus, they’re easy to make, throw everything in the blender and you’re done! Today I wanted to share my recipe for a tasty, refreshing and protein packed power green smoothie!
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1 cup spinach
1 banana
1/2 avocado
2 scoops collagen peptides
A handful of ice cubes
Directions:
Add everything to the blender, blend until smooth, enjoy!
Not a fan of orange juice? Swap out the orange juice for coconut water. If you like your smoothie to be extra cold, cut up your ripe bananas and freeze so they’re prepped and handy and drink through a stainless steel straw. This smoothie is also great for a mid-morning or mid-day snack!
