There’s something about the change of seasons from winter to spring that is always exciting. It’s such a great feeling when you can finally put away your bulky coats, oversized sweaters, and boots. My wardrobe goes from darker hues and heavy knits to light, airy fabrics, and vibrant colors. Another thing I look forward to is spring trends and adding a few new pieces to my closet. Today I wanted to share a few spring fashion trends I’m looking forward to wearing and spring outfit ideas. I put together these looks with pieces from cabi Clothing’s Spring 2023 Collection. They’ve combined a perfect mixture of fun, daring, and surprise that beautifully commands attention and effortlessly says to the world, “Let’s play!”
Before we get to the spring trends, I wanted to share more about cabi clothing. I discovered the brand years ago when one of my neighbors hosted an at-home trunk show. The detail and quality behind cabi’s pieces are unsurpassable. My closet has cabi pieces that are 10+ years old that are still in pristine condition. I’ve been honored to be one of 10 cabi brand ambassadors for the past four seasons.
What is cabi?
Launched in 2001, cabi is a company run by women for women and stands for Carol Anderson by Invitation. A home-based fashion brand, cabi offers its clients personalized styling services and shopping options. Carol Anderson initially sold her designs in department stores but was frustrated that shoppers could only experience what the buyers deemed best for the stores. cabi releases new collections in the spring and fall, and they are available to purchase through one of their stylists.
Working with brands that give back is important to me, and cabi’s mission is something I can get behind. The Heart of cabi Foundation encourages and empowers women in need. From distributing clothing in local communities affected by natural disasters to empowering women entrepreneurs in developing countries to work their way out of poverty and contributing to the education and futures of Rwandan children, cabi is passionate about serving and investing in women and families across the globe.
How to Shop cabi
cabi has redefined how women shop with their at-home styling events. cabi’s Fashion Experience brings their uniquely styled clothing right to your home and allows you to relax with friends and hear about the latest trends. Shopping in the comfort of your home at a cabi party eliminates the frustration that sometimes comes with shopping. And I have always preferred to try on clothing at home rather than in the store. You can also enjoy seeing the latest collection for spring outfit ideas on cabi’s virtual runway while your cabi Stylist shares helpful styling tips and personalized advice. It’s a great way to get together with your girlfriends and shop virtually.
I’ve found cabi to run a bit large, so size down, especially if you don’t like an oversized fit. I recommend referencing the size charts and noting the size and height the models are wearing on their site. cabi offers extended sizes in 15 must-haves up to size 20 or XXL. Additionally, 20 spring pieces are offered in size 00 or XXS.
cabi Return Policy
cabi wants to be sure you love your cabi pieces, so returns and exchanges are easy! Just contact your cabi Stylist within 30 days of your order delivery to let her know you’d like to make a return or exchange, and she’ll help process it.
Host a cabi Fashion Experience
Are you interested in using cabi’s styling service to have a stylist help you and your friends discover your unique style together? You can give the gift of style by hosting a cabi Fashion Experience. You and your friends will have a fun shopping experience, and as a hostess, you will receive a 50% discount for hosting the event.
Spring Fashion Trends
Cargo Pants & Paintbrush Florals
Utilitarian wear is in for 2023, and the return of the cargo pants now has a more tailored silhouette. These are the Compass Pant in a soft beige hue with elastic cuffing and zipper detailing at the ankles. I styled my cargo pants with another trend, paintbrush florals. Florals for springtime are always a yes, but the vibrant orange, black, and baby blue floral print of the Bloom Cardigan takes things to another level. I know this cropped cardi will work its way into countless outfits this season.
Sheer fabrics are very much a thing for spring, and the Pounce Blouse comes in a sheer chiffon fabric with baby blue and white skin print that reads as clouds, a heavenly addition to your spring wardrobe. This pretty blouse is a must-have and is perfectly paired with cargo pants. I have lots of spring outfit ideas with this blouse spinning in my head. It would look great with distressed denim and a moto jacket for an edgy look or a midi skirt and heels for the office.
When it comes to patterns this season, more is more! Here are a few spring outfit ideas with plaid.
Meet the Highclere Trench, a high-end classic trench coat whose modern plaid print reads as three-dimensional. Complete with epaulets, a front placket, and a wide collar, I’ll be reaching for this coat often.
Something about the Playdate Crop and Jacket makes me feel like a kid again, and I’m feeling the Clueless vibes too. This matching set is adorable with its cheerful pink plaid print. Whether you wear these pieces together or separately, you’ll make a statement.
Will you be wearing any of these trends? Which of these spring outfit ideas is your favorite?
