Stitch Fix Freestyle Review

You’re probably familiar with Stitch Fix, a personal shopping service that shops for you and delivers five pieces of clothing and accessories to your door for you to try. I’ve shared them on the blog before here, here, and here and if you read my reviews, you’ll know that my experience was sometimes hit or miss. Well, that has all changed with Stitch Fixes’ latest launch, Freestyle. Keep reading for my honest Stitch Fix Freestyle Review.

What is Stitch Fix Freestyle?

Stitch Fix Freestyle allows you to instantly buy items curated for you based on your style preferences without having to order a Fix first. Like the traditional Fix, you create a style profile with your size, fit and style preferences, and a personal online shop is created for you to discover and personally buy pieces that meet your style needs.

Freestyle is an incredibly effective way to shop, offering efficiency and convenience, allowing you to browse a personalized and instantly shoppable shopping feed with many ways to engage for inspiration and discovery, and eliminating the need to scroll and filter for relevant items endlessly. Shoppers who want a specific item can also buy pieces curated just for them from a variety of easily accessible categories and departments, brands, and seasonal trending shops.

Freestyle Cost

Unlike the original Stitch Fix, no styling fees or minimum orders are required to shop with Stitch Fix Freestyle. And shipping, returns, and exchanges are free, so there’s nothing to lose.

What I Bought from Stitch Fix Freestyle

It was easy to shop with Stitch Fix Freestyle. The site had a curated collection for me to browse based on my style profile. Here’s what I got:

Vero Moda Slip Skirt

A classic slip skirt is a seasonless staple, and I wanted to find one with a spring print. My eye was immediately drawn to this green and pink floral number. It’s a pull-on style with an elastic waistband in the back. As you can see, it’s easy to dress up or down.

Calvin Klien Vegan Leather Blouse

When the spring weather is still unpredictable, faux or vegan leather is the way to go. Instead of reaching for your leather moto jacket, try a faux leather top. It’s the perfect weight for those days when the weather is cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon. Bonus, this top is machine washable.

41 Hawthorn Pleated Satin Blouse

Satins and pleating are trending this season, and I couldn’t resist this champagne-colored satin blouse with pleats. As pretty as this top was, unfortunately, it didn’t fit right on me. So, I took advantage of Stitch Fix’s free returns, and it’s currently on its way back.

Final Thoughts

I mentioned my previous Stitch Fix experiences sometimes fell flat. If you like the concept of Stitch Fix but would prefer to shop on your own and without a styling fee, Freestyle is a great option for you. I loved how they personalized an online shop based on my style quiz. Just like with the regular Stitch Fix, you rate the items so that they will continue to evolve and always give you the most personalized shopping experience.
