Can you believe we’ve breezed right through January and Valentine’s Day is right around the corner? Valentine’s Day has never been a big deal for us, and we usually play it by year. Sometimes we stay in and make dinner together, and sometimes we get out of the house. When we do go out, I always love getting dressed up! Today I wanted to share an outfit idea for what to wear for Valentine’s Day dinner.
A dark floral print is a nice change from head to toe red or pink. I love the flowy detailing of this burgundy floral dress, and it checks all of the boxes of fun, flirty and feminine. I styled this floral dress with tights and wedge booties, but it would pair perfectly with OTK boots or heels. You could easily give this outfit an edgy vibe by throwing on a leather jacket and combat boots. I can see wearing it in the spring with sandals or sneakers too! Gosh, you are not kidding, that dress checks all the boxes!! It is so pretty, and has such feminine details. Love the bold floral and the delicate fabric. And I really like the headband, too. That soft baby pink color doesn’t try to compete with the brights in the dress. Never heard of Mint Julep but looking real hard at that dress! Would love to try it myself.
