Fall is in the air, and for those of us who are obsessed with all things pumpkin, I've got a simple and delicious Pumpkin Spice Smoothie recipe for you! Pumpkins are rich in antioxidants, high in protein, and a good source of vitamin C, which is essential for healthy skin. In the summer, I usually have a green smoothie almost every morning, and there's no time like the present to switch things up. A pumpkin spice smoothie is a great way to have a healthy breakfast treat and celebrate fall! 

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Ingredients:

1/2 cup coconut milk
3/4 cup greek yogurt
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 banana
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 Tbs maple syrup

Optional Ingredients:

2 scoops collagen peptides or vanilla protein powder
Whipped cream

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. 
Add 6 - 10 ice cubes to make it nice and cold. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

If you're serving it as a dessert or afternoon treat, top it with some whipped cream and cinnamon!
