How I Styled This Travel Friendly Summer Outfit 3 Ways

Matching sets are one of my favorite outfit formulas, especially when I want to pull a look together fast. This sleeveless tie-front top and matching palazzo pant set from Clara Sunwoo checks all of the boxes, and not just because it’s a pretty print. It’s lightweight, buttery soft, doesn’t wrinkle, and is the kind of travel friendly summer outfit you can pack without a second thought and wear straight out of your suitcase.

I wanted to showcase the versatility of this set by wearing the two pieces in three different ways, with each look feeling completely distinct.

Travel Friendly Outfits

Wrinkle-free set worn together

Wearing the top and pants as a set makes getting dressed almost too easy. I styled them with a pair of neutral heeled sandals and gold hoops for a simple but polished look. The print does the work here, no extra layers or accessories needed. The tie detail gives the top some shape, and the wide-leg pants have a nice flow when you move. This is an easy outfit for dinner on the patio, but I’d wear it just as easily for a summer event or get-together.

travel friendly top + tailored shorts

For a more casual look, I paired the top with a pair of off-white, tailored shorts. I added flat sandals and kept the same bag. This look feels a little more playful and relaxed. The print adds interest without being loud, which is a win in my book. This outfit would be great for lunch and shopping with girlfriends, but it would also work for errands or sightseeing if you’re traveling.

Packable Palazzo pants + white tee

The pants are surprisingly easy to dress down. I styled them with a white tee, loosely tucked, and my platform sneakers. I liked how this outfit felt easy but looked put together. Perfect for a travel day or a weekend when you’re running around but still want to look like you tried. Add a denim jacket or another topper alternative for an extra layer for chilly evenings.
